The USS Mae Jemison is a chapter is part of STARFLEET International Inc. This is a meeting chapter is based out of National Harbor, Maryland and serves the DC Metro area which is part of STARFLEET's Region 7 (DC, DE, MD, PA, NJ, NY).

The chapter is focused on community service, charities and community outreach projects. Our members also participate in a variety of events such as watch parties, cosplay, conventions, museum visits, and more.  They are also active chats with the crew on their own Facebook page.

The Star Trek Aspect is fan based. The "ship" is an Odyssey Class Starship that is primarily an Exploration Vessel.
