USS Mae Jemison is a Star Trek fan club chapter newly formed in the National Harbor, Maryland.  The chapter is focused on Star Trek and like sci-fi based content.  The chapter is a group of individuals from different areas within the Capital Region of Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia. The mission is to have fun and give back to the community through the ideals helping one another.  Our chapter works on projects to help others and to promote the very same ideology that Star Trek embodies.  Our chapter has a structure similar to that of what is seen on the Star Trek series.
